RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Skills / Experience

Circulating, scrubbing, and/or monitoring
Ablation procedures
LAAO procedures
Device implants

Preferred Experience

Loop implant/explant
Leadless PPM
Lead extraction

Unit Details

Cardiac cath and EP lab
Day shift includes a mix of RN and Rad Tech/RCIS
Typical patient ratio is a 3-person team per patient
Minimum 6 staff daily for the EP lab area
Floating may include cath lab or pre/post, based on experience

Work Conditions

May include 1–2 late nights each week
Scrub color/attire: Seal Blue
