CST/ORT - First Assist

Job Overview

Location: Salem, Virginia
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Shift: 10-hour shifts
Schedule: Rotating weeknight and weekend call
Floating: No floating

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in Virginia
CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
OR First Assist Certification
VA Board of Medicine Registration
Proficiency in orthopedic procedures
Proficiency in DaVinci robotic surgery
Proficiency in neuro procedures
Orthopedic trauma experience
CVOR First Assist experience

Unit Details

Setting: Main operating room with 10 beds
Staffing: Each room has 1 circulator and 1 surgical technologist
Procedures: Craniotomy, spine fusion, liver resection, Whipple, and MAKO total joint
