Ultrasound Tech - General
Location
Wilmington, North Carolina
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Travel/contract assignment
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- No call, no weekends, no float
Setting
- Outpatient maternal-fetal medicine / high-risk obstetrics ultrasound
- Adolescent and adult patients
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ARDMS
- BLS
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
- Abdominal Aorta and Appendix ultrasound
- 1st-3rd Trimester obstetric ultrasound
- Amniotic fluid index assessment
- Fetal Anatomical Survey
- Placenta Previa scanning
- Neonatal Head ultrasound
- Neonatal Heart ultrasound
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Skills
- Portables
- Liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen ultrasound
- Amniocentesis
- Bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, vaginal, breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid imaging
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Scrubs are royal blue and not provided
- Orientation is 40 hours and attendance is required in full
- Start date may vary based on class and trainer availability
