Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Employment type: Contract
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Previous nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care using the nursing process
Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
Document nursing care accurately and clearly
Notify the physician of relevant patient changes
Administer medications and perform treatments safely
Carry out physician orders as written
Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care

Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to make independent decisions
