Job Overview
- Location: Warrenton, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekly hours: 36
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Float requirement: Rare float to a unit appropriate to skill or as a “set of hands”
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- CPI
Role Details
- Emergency department RN role
- Must be able to perform core ER tasks, including phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG, splinting, wound care, and transporting
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient
- Team-oriented
- Patient population includes all ages
Facility Setting
- Acute care hospital with surgical services, a 24-hour emergency department, medical imaging, ICU, orthopedics and spine services, cardiac catheterization lab, robotic-assisted surgery, and a family birthing center/intermediate care nursery
