RN - ICU
Overview
- Travel RN position in an ICU
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Details
- 38-bed mixed ICU in a Level II Trauma Center
- Patient population includes medical, surgical, cardiac, neurosurgery, and post-operative open-heart patients
- Supports VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
- Typical patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Meditech experience
- CVICU/CTICU experience
Common Procedures / Responsibilities
- Bedside bronchoscopy
- GI scopes
- Chest tube insertion
- Arterial and central line insertions
- Airway care
- Frequent drip titrations
