Job Overview

Location: Lancaster, Ohio

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate
BLS
AWHONN
C-EFM
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Previous registered nursing experience

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise patient care using the nursing process
Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly
Notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
Administer medications and perform treatments safely
Implement physician orders as written
Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care and report malfunctions

Work Demands

Heavy work with frequent patient handling
Ability to manage urgent situations calmly
Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
