Job Overview

Travel RN position in Carthage, Tennessee
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
Weekly orientation on Mondays
Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel status

Unit and Patient Care

Labor and delivery specialty with work in labor/delivery, nursery, and postpartum units
Patient population includes maternity women and newborns
1:2 patient ratio
2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
May float as needed
Call requirement: 3 twelve-hour shifts per 4-week schedule
Weekend coverage is every other weekend, rotating as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Nursery experience
Post Partum experience
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP

Skills and Experience

Labor and delivery experience
Fetal monitoring

Additional Notes

Positive attitude, cooperative, and initiative are preferred personal traits
Any scrub color is acceptable
Casual attire and other facility apparel are not allowed
