MRI Tech

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Wilmington, North Carolina
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 3x12, Thursday–Saturday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

  • MRI Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • MRI Technologist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ARRT (MR)
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience working with Adolescent patients
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Experience working with Geriatric patients

Work Setting

  • Float between orthopedics and the main hospital
  • No call required
  • Patient familiarity preferred: neonates, infants, pediatrics
  • Required patient familiarity: adolescents, adults, geriatrics
  • Equipment includes GE and Siemens

Scheduling and Start Expectations

  • Scheduling is based on unit needs
  • Start date may change based on class and trainer availability
  • Must be fully available during the first week of orientation
  • Missing any part of orientation may delay or cancel the start

Additional Notes

  • RTO after booking is not allowed
  • May be required to work during a storm, hurricane, mass casualty, or disaster event
  • Royal blue scrubs required
