Occupational Therapist

Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or completion of a postgraduate Occupational Therapy certification program
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a home health setting preferred
Role Summary
- Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients
- Coordinate and communicate treatment activities with interdisciplinary team members and the patient
- Assess functional ability
- Provide direct treatments
- Select therapeutic modalities
- Communicate with members of the health care team
- Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
- Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures
