Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

Location: Galax, Virginia
Employment type: Travel

Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 12 weekend hours
Call: None
Float: As needed
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Clinical Setting

Patient population: All ages
Common cases: Respiratory issues
Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAPs, ABGs

Additional Notes

Previous RT experience is required
Must be able to work with all age groups and work alone if needed
Professional demeanor expected
Travelers must have required certifications before start
Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
