Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Women's Services experience
Antepartum experience
Post Partum experience
Nursery experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
AWHONN

Clinical Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, treatments, assessments, care planning, and patient education
Assists with activities of daily living and coordinates care across disciplines
Circulates during C-sections, assists with deliveries, and supports recovery and care of surgical patients
Assesses neonates after delivery and attends the neonatal station in the C-section suite
Communicates patient information to physicians, patients, families, and the care team
