RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel RN position in Ottumwa, Iowa
Specialty: Emergency Department
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
Patient population: primarily adults; also geriatrics
Unit size: 17 beds
Patient ratio: 1:6
Call coverage needed to help cover daily volume and 24/7 call needs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS
CPI
TNCC

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Iowa SING background check clearance, including criminal and child abuse portions
All county and state background checks must be fully cleared before start
Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult
10-panel drug screen including opiates
Titers from the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB

Additional Details

Monday or Tuesday start dates are allowed
Housing options are available for the position, at additional cost
