Rotating weekends
Call requirements to be discussed during the interview

Assignment Length

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with High Risk patients
Recovering high acuity patients

Unit Details

Labor and delivery unit
24 beds
High-risk obstetrical unit
Patient ratios include 2:1 and 3:1 for OBED triage
Floating may be required to antepartum within Women’s

Procedures / Clinical Experience

Vaginal deliveries
C-sections
D&C
Post-delivery recovery care

Additional Notes

Uses GE fetal monitors
Documentation system includes Meditech and CPN
Must follow the facility attendance policy
