RN – Labor & Delivery

Overview

Travel RN position in Irving, Texas
13-week assignment
Day shift: 7A
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
No call required
Candidate must be able to charge on nights
Floating as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
FM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles

Preferred Qualifications

RNC
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Labor & Delivery unit
12 beds
Typical patient ratio: 2:1
Staffing includes 1 unit tech each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift
Circulates C-sections

Work Environment / Policies

Facility provides scrubs
Clean, healthy nails required
Hair must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
Body art should be covered whenever possible
Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
Attendance and floating policies apply
