Physical Therapist
Job Overview
- Location: Wilson, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel
- Specialty: Community hospital outpatient clinic
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday
- Hours per week: 32
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
- BLS
- Graduation from a physical therapy program
Work Setting and Duties
- Provides outpatient therapy care
- May cover some acute care patients, including respiratory, cardiac, CVA, and orthopedic cases
- Patient population is primarily adults and older adults, with occasional older adolescents/teens
Preferred Experience
- Neuro experience
- Orthopedic experience
- Some acute care experience
Schedule Details
- One acute care coverage weekend every 4–5 weeks
- Flex days are scheduled the week before and after weekend coverage
Additional Notes
- Outpatient clinic role with occasional acute care coverage
- Must be able to manage a fast-paced environment and a full caseload
- Scrubs may be any color, but a scrub top is required
- Earbuds are not allowed during patient care
