Job Overview
- Location: Moses Lake, Washington
- Employment type: Contract
- Shift: Days
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care as a registered nurse and also coordinates, supervises, and delegates care activities for other caregivers.
- May serve as charge nurse, including managing assignments, admits, discharges, transfers, break coverage, and unit problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Washington
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) at the Healthcare Provider level within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
- PALS or PEARS certification within 6 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
- CPAN certification
PACU-Specific Requirements
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
- PALS or PEARS certification within 6 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
Additional Expectations
- Complete 4 hours of orientation training
- Complete 4 hours of annual training
- Follow the pathway for total joint replacement based on area of specialty
- May cancel up to two shifts per month or up to six shifts within any 13-week assignment
