RN - NICU

Job Overview

  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

  • Neonatal ICU with 24 licensed spots
  • Staffing includes 41 staff members
  • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1
  • No nursing aides are used
  • Telemedicine equipment is used
  • Common procedures include intubations, chest tubes, PIVs, medication administration, blood administration, and blood draws
  • High-risk deliveries are attended by NICU staff
