RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Carthage, Tennessee
Specialty: Med/Surg
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend schedule: rotating weekends
Call: none
Float: none

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience / Skills

Experience with IVs, Foley catheters, pain management, and EMAR

Unit Details

18-bed adult and geriatric Med/Surg unit with occasional pediatric patients
Typical patient ratio: 1:5

Additional Notes

Orientation is weekly on Mondays
Travelers must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel
Tennessee Abuse Registry check required before start
Facility reserves the right to require additional certifications before start
