Rehabilitation Therapy Job

Location

Pahala, Hawaii

Contract

26 weeks

Schedule

Days, Monday–Friday
7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
Occupational Therapist with 2 years of experience
Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Red Cross
Experience working with adult patients
Experience in an outpatient setting
Experience in an acute care setting

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient or inpatient settings
Plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician
Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly
Independently manage a full caseload
Determine when re-evaluations are needed based on insurance authorization
Provide coverage in Rehab and Acute Rehab

Additional Notes

Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations
Travelers without an active Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer
Hawaii license must be obtained by the start of the assignment
