RN - Med Surg
Location
- Marquette, Michigan
Contract
- Travel assignment
- 13 weeks
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Night shift: 7p–7a
- Rotating weekends
- Orientation is bi-weekly
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred
- BSN preferred
- Experience on a medical/surgical unit preferred
Unit Details
- Acute medical/surgical unit
- Adult and geriatric patients
- 5:1 to 6:1 patient ratio
- Occasional float to a similar unit
Additional Information
- Manager may consider 48-hour shifts and block scheduling if possible
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Telemetry monitors used on the unit
- Scrub color: Galaxy Blue; navy also acceptable
