Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in New Jersey
• Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• ARRT (RT)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• True Beam experience
• Accelerator experience
• SIMS experience

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years of experience

Key Skills

• Radiation therapy treatment delivery and monitoring
• Patient assessment and positioning
• Treatment field localization and setup documentation
• Quality assurance procedures
• Equipment operation monitoring and radiation safety
• Portal imaging and treatment calculations
• Room and equipment preparation
• Patient instruction and informed consent
• Construction of immobilization devices, shielding blocks, lead cut-outs, and bolus
• True Beam, accelerator, and SIMS experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift at least 25 lbs
• Push and pull at least 25 lbs
• Stand at least 4 hours per day
