**Exciting Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery - Rapid Response** **Job Description:** - **Duration:** 6 Weeks - **Shifts:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (48 hours/week) - **Location:** Riverside Community Hospital - Labor and Delivery **Unit Overview:** - **Number of Beds:** - Labor Beds: 11 - OB Evaluation: 4 - OB PACU: 2 - Operating Rooms: 2 - **Staffing:** - Total Staff: 79 - Night Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 10 Staff Nurses - 2 OB Techs - Day Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 10 Staff Nurses - 2 OB Techs - **Patient Ratios:** 1 RN/2 Patients, 1 RN/1 Patient **Key Qualifications:** - **Must Have Skills:** - AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification - Experience in Couplet Care (if floated) - **Preferred Skills:** - Over 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery - Transition Nurse/Baby Catching experience **Typical Procedures:** - Non-Stress Tests (NST) - Cervical Exams - Managing Labor - Titrating Medications - McRoberts Maneuver **Ideal Candidate:** - Thrives in an organized chaos environment - Enjoys managing multiple patients **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) **Additional Information:** - **Floating Areas:** Postpartum-Couplets - **Dress Code:** Hospital infant security scrubs - **Weekends and On-Call:** Yes, flexibility is needed to meet unit requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
