### Join Our Team as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse! **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** Must start within the next week - **Nursing Role:** RN for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Assigned to float team, adapting to unit and patient care needs - Commitment: Minimum of every other weekend **Requirements:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required - NIHSS must be completed prior to start - Minimum of **1 year tele experience** required - Skills needed: - Administer insulin drips and cardiac drips - Proficient in starting IVs and managing post-cardiac catheterization - Epic experience within the past 2 years is **nonnegotiable** - Valid **NY license** required in submission packet **Additional Information:** - **Orientation:** Bi-weekly on Mondays - **Work Schedule:** Monday to Sunday, no block scheduling - **Transportation:** Public transport is NOT accessible - Reliable personal or rental vehicle is **strongly recommended** - All-season or snow tires required from November to April **Facility Details:** - Total # of Facility Beds: 341 - Unit Specialty: Progressive Care Unit - Patient Population: - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Cardiac diagnoses requiring close monitoring - Patients on insulin drip therapy and various monitoring needs **Expectations:** - Nurses will be part of the Resource Float team, floating to appropriate units as needed - Charge nurse role is NOT required - Patient Nurse Ratio: 3:1 - **Dress Code:** Scrubs (navy blue or white), closed-toe nonskid shoes, minimal jewelry, and professional grooming **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
