Wound Care Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in West Hollywood, California
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- May need weekend coverage
- No on-call
- No floating within scope
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- RTO must be 10 days or less and included at submission
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Wound Care (1.5 years of experience)
- Wound Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- WCC or WOCN preferred
Additional Notes
- Pending license not accepted
- Common patient needs include HAPI, wound consults, ostomy care, and wound VAC management
- Special equipment includes WoundVision and wound VAC
