RN - Med Surg

13-week contract
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
NIHSS
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to insert nasogastric (NG) tubes
Experience with heparin drips

Clinical Details

Specialty: Medical Surgical
1 opening
48-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:6
May float to inpatient rehab or the ER for task support
No call required

Skills/Experience Needed

Able to start IVs
Able to insert Foley catheters
Able to insert NG tubes
Experience performing EKGs
Experience with heparin drips

Schedule Notes

Weekend coverage as needed
Orientation dates are scheduled throughout 2026
