Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Contract role in St Johnsbury, Vermont
- Night shift: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 pm–7 am
- Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed
- Fast-paced emergency department setting with a busy rural critical access hospital
- Credentialing must be completed and uploaded at least five business days before start date
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Vermont
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC
Clinical Setting
- Emergency department with 9 beds
- Approximately 15,000 patient visits per year
- Rural location with no public transportation nearby
- Closest airport is about 2 hours away
Additional Notes
- Familiarity with Meditech is required, or the ability to learn it quickly
- Travelers start on Wednesdays
- During orientation week, a 48-hour contract is guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start
