X-Ray Tech

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Calabasas, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 1x12 hours, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday
Start/assignment notes: No weekend, floating, or on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in California
Radiology Technician (2 years of experience)
Radiology Technician experience within the last year
ARRT (R)
BLS
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

OR and Epic required
Government-issued photo ID
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test within 1 year, updated annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
MMR immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, and rubella
Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
Varicella immunity or vaccination
Drug screening within 1 year of start
2 professional references, including 1 supervisory reference
Prior radiation exposure attestation
Background check and education verification
Pass/fail testing and competency exams required
Fire card required within the first 6 months of working onsite
Photo required for badge creation
Candidate must complete lab work within 48 hours of signing the contract
