RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Wichita, Kansas
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Day shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
CVOR (1 year of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles

Preferred Qualifications

PALS certification
Open heart and cardiovascular experience
Prior Meditech experience

Unit Details

CVOR unit with 2 heart rooms and a possible 3rd room
Staffing includes 4 RNs and 3 CSTs
Day shift staffing is 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST
No night shift; on-call coverage only
Patient ratio is 1:1

CABG
AVR
MVR
TAVR

Schedule Expectations

On-call required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Work Environment
