Schedule

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 5x 8-hour shifts
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• RDCS
• RDMS
• RVT or RVS
• High school diploma or equivalent, and graduation from a certified cardiovascular technology school or an accredited ultrasonography program with a specialty in cardiac sonography
• 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive procedure area
• Experience in vascular testing
• Vascular Technologist experience

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of clinical echocardiography experience
• 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive procedure area
• Experience in vascular testing

Job Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including 2-D M-Mode, color flow imaging, stress echo, TEE, doppler studies, strain, and 3D echocardiography
• Assist during stress echocardiogram and TEE procedures
• Obtain patient history and perform ordered procedures
• Transport equipment for bedside studies
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain equipment
• Complete billing charge requisitions, log books, worksheets, and reports
• Prepare rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Assist with training new employees
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives
