RN - Behavioral Health
Overview
- Travel RN position in Holyoke, Massachusetts
- 13-week contract
- 40 hours per week
- Orientation is biweekly on Tuesdays
- Local candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
Schedule
- Shift details were not specified
- Block scheduling is not available
- Weekend coverage is every other weekend or as needed
- No call required
- Float requirements apply
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- 1 year of Behavioral Health experience
- Experience in an inpatient Behavioral Health setting
- BLS
- HWC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Education
- BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program
Unit Details
- Behavioral health inpatient unit
- Patient population includes geriatrics, pediatrics ages 5–17, and adults
- Common diagnoses include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety
- Patient ratio is 1:8, with lower ratios in geriatrics and pediatrics
- Blue scrubs required
