Job Overview

Location: Brevard, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Med Surg experience
Stepdown experience

Preferred Experience

ICU/stepdown experience
1 year of med/surg experience

Unit Details

Acute care unit with 30 beds
Patient mix includes med-surg and higher-acuity care
Weekend rotation required
Floating may include TCU

Clinical Skills / Procedures

IV starts
CVL care
Arterial lines
Foley catheter care
EKG monitoring
Wound care

Work Environment

Fast-paced, changing environment
Team-based care model

Additional Notes

BLS and ACLS must be completed prior to the end of orientation
Nurses wear navy blue scrubs
