Surgical First Assistant
Overview
- Employment type: Travel
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- Shift: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Surgical First Assistant experience
- 2 years of CVOR First Assist experience within the last year
- 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience utilizing either Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro
- 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience
- BLS
- OR First Assist Certification
- CSFA, CFA, or SA-C
Schedule
- On-call: Every third weekend and every third weekday
- Weekends: Rotate call every third
Clinical Setting
- Procedures include: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, open and endovascular aorta repair, and thoracic cases

- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- Floating: Main OR
