Respiratory Therapy
Overview
- Travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kansas
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NBRC
- NRP
- PALS
Preferred Experience
- Pediatric/PICU experience
- Strong ICU experience
Unit Details
- Respiratory Therapy unit
- 760-bed facility
- 95 respiratory therapy staff
- Adult ICU physician coverage 24/7
- Level 1 trauma
- PICU with 15 beds
- Level 3 NICU
- ECMO for adults
Common Responsibilities
- Respiratory care treatments
- Invasive and noninvasive ventilator management
Work Environment
- Fast-paced critical care setting
- Equipment includes V800 Draeger vents, C1 Hamilton vents, and Airvo for HHFNC
