Registered Nurse

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Telemetry / LTAC
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Location: San Leandro, California
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Weekend nights; Friday and Saturday, with the third shift on another day during the week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Long Term Acute Care experience
  • Telemetry experience

Role Summary

  • Provides patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state nurse practice act and hospital policies
  • Uses critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to support safe care delivery
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
  • Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
  • Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
