Emergency Dept RN
Overview
- Travel RN position in Smyrna, Tennessee
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CPI
- PALS
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with critical care gtts
- Experience with sedation
- Experience with ESI (Emergency Severity Index)
- Experience with codes
- Experience with STEMI
- Experience with Stroke
- Experience with Sepsis
- Experience with Trauma
Unit Details
- Emergency room with 39 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Every other weekend required
- No floating
- Uses Meditech EDM for documentation
Experience / Skills
- Critical care drips
- Sedation
- ESI
- Codes
- STEMI
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma experience preferred
Procedures on Unit
- Intubation
- Chest tube insertion
