Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- Medical ICU
- 31 beds
- Typical patient ratio is 2:1, with 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing
- Uses Meditech for documentation
- Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Contract staff are expected to float to med/surg when needed

- Unit secretary is staffed during dayshift
- Occasional nurse extern support as a tech
- Navy scrubs required
