Travel RN - Emergency Department
Job Overview
- Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
- Employment type: Travel
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- CPI
Unit Details
- Emergency department with 19 beds plus a 4-bed psych pod
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- May float to the psych pod or to another emergency department within the same system
- Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets are needed
- Chest pain and stroke certification is required
- Navy scrubs are required
Additional Information
- Day and night shift secretaries are available
- Tech coverage is scheduled Monday through Friday on day and night shifts
- Tele psych support is available
- Experienced staff with long tenure
- Excellent provider and nurse relations
