Outpatient Surgery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Torrance, California
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 40 hours per week
- ASAP start
- Contract length: 6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Outpatient Surgery (3 years of experience)
- Outpatient Surgery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Charge roles
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Key Role Requirements
- Ambulatory Surgery Center startup and operational setup
- AAAHC survey preparation and accreditation readiness
- Regulatory compliance and policy/procedure development
- Quality program development and quality binder support
- Strong administrative and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Experience editing forms, documents, and policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of infection control and minor life safety
Work Expectations
- No weekend requirement
- No floating
- No on-call
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
Clinical Focus
- Anticipated cases include trigger finger procedures, pain management, and minor orthopedic procedures under local anesthesia
