Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team! - **Position:** Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) - **Shift:** 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM - **About the Role:** - Immerse yourself in a fast-paced environment of a vibrant Emergency Department. - Engage with a diverse patient population, including Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics. - Work with cutting-edge specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. - **Unit Specifications:** - Total Beds: 64 - 2 Triage - 40 Acute - 6 Super Track - 2 Trauma - 10 CDU - 6 Psych - **Common Patient Diagnoses:** - Stroke - Sepsis - Trauma - Myocardial Infarction (MI) - Cardiac Arrest - Respiratory Failure - **Essential Requirements:** - Must live over 75 miles from the facility for travel positions; locals welcome (less than 75 miles). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the ED with pediatric experience. - Travel experience is a must! - Valid and current AHA Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. - NURSYS report verifying an active NY license. - Skills checklist matching specialty required. - Experience with EMR (Epic) is a plus. - RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included with submission. - **Position Preferences:** - Charge capability is highly preferred. - Flexibility to float as required. - Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
