RN - CVICU
Location
- Overland Park, Kansas
Job Type
- Travel
- 48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit Details
- Cardiovascular ICU
- 10 beds
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Support staff available
- Floating may be required to Medical ICU and floor units
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU (1 year of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Telemetry experience
- Pressor management experience
- Positive inotropes experience
- Pacemaker care experience
- Chest tube management experience
- Cath/EP lab recovery experience
- Pericardial drain management experience
Preferred Experience
- CVICU experience
- Charge nurse experience for night shift
Clinical Skills / Procedures
- Open heart procedures
- ECMO cannulation
Additional Notes
- Royal blue scrubs required
- High expectations for quality and patient experience scores
