PACU RN Travel Assignment

Role Overview

Registered Nurse in the PACU
Travel assignment
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ED - Emergency Department experience

Preferred Experience

ICU or ER experience
Floor experience
Ventilator experience
Experience with critical drips

Schedule

9- or 12-hour shifts
Call required 1–2 times per week
1 weekend call per month
2 holiday calls per year

Unit Details

PACU with 15 beds
Closed unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:2
Staffed with 1 PCT plus RNs
