RN - Med Surg

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- NIHSS
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Skills / Experience
- Able to start IVs
- Able to insert Foley catheters
- Able to insert NG tubes
- Experience performing EKGs
- Experience with heparin drips
Schedule / Work Setting
- Weekend hours as needed
- No call requirements
- Rare floating to inpatient rehab or ER for tasks
- 1:6 patient ratio
Additional Details
- 48-bed unit
- Orientation dates are available throughout 2026
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
- Joint Commission accredited
- Hospital safety rating: A
