Clinic RN – Radiation Oncology

- Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Job Type

- 36 hours per week
- Weekday schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Clinic experience
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care in a collaborative Radiation Oncology setting
- Supports patient assessment, nursing interventions, teaching, counseling, and care coordination
- Serves as a liaison between Radiation Oncology and other care teams and support resources
Key Skills and Work Environment
- Fast-paced clinic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and strong organization
- Experience caring for patients across different age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management
- Familiarity with oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and evidence-based practice
Additional Notes
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- CAPS registration is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays for clinic workers
