Travel Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Overview
- Location: Foley, Alabama
- Setting: FSED
- Employment type: Travel
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with call (typically 1–2 times per week)
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 3 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT or RDMS
- Graduation from an accredited AMA school
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound services for inpatient and outpatient care under radiologist direction and departmental protocols
- Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
- Scan small parts, including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
- Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
