RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Travel RN position in Bryson City, North Carolina
Contract length: 13 weeks
36 guaranteed hours per week
One opening

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PICC/CVC management
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience

Clinical Details

Medical-surgical progressive care setting
Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience
Weekend rotation may be accommodated if needed
No call required
Patient ratio: 1:6 maximum
Adult patient population, mostly 65+
Must have experience with PICC/CVC management and wound care

Additional Notes

17-bed unit in a critical access hospital
Inpatient, observation, and swing bed services
No surgeries performed in the building
