Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Assesses and evaluates patient status, develops care plans, and documents care
- Educates patients on breastfeeding, infant care, and wellness
- Communicates patient condition to the physician and nursing supervisor
- Assists with procedures, emergencies, and maintaining a safe unit environment
