Physical Therapist — Acute Care Hospital
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Apple Valley, California
- Acute care setting
- Start: ASAP
- Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke Foundation
Schedule Notes
- Weekend requirement not specified
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

- AROM/AAROM/PROM
- Assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, skin integrity, strength testing, vital signs
- Discharge planning, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, short-term goals
- Call lights, crutches, gait belt, hospital bed, standard walker, supplemental O2
- COPD, CHF, CABG, MI
- Gait training
- Hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, post-stroke rehabilitation
