RN - Emergency Department

Patient ratio: 4:1 variable

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP

Additional requirements

CPI is required and may be obtained after contract start; training is provided on site
Must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Permanent home address must be included on the submission
RTO must be requested in the submission packet and made up at the end of the contract
Labor Day is a blackout date

Clinical responsibilities

Triage patients
Use critical thinking and assessment skills
Perform nursing skills including IV/IO, chest tube management, catheterization, and critical care drip management
