Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AWHONN Advanced
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Details

First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted within 50 miles
Weekend availability is required depending on contract length
On-call is not required
Floating may be required to mother baby
Precepting skills are preferred
Must be flexible working weekends
RTO must be included at time of submission

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

Background check required
Education verification required
Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
Respiratory safety clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
Drug screen required within 12 months of start
TB screening required within 12 months of start
Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
COVID vaccination documentation or declination may be required based on candidate status
Tdap documentation required within 10 years
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or declination documentation required
